The Les Flamants Roses thalassotherapy spa has put together a series of services for sportspeople who want to stay fit and look after their bodies either as part of their work or simply to create a kind of synergy based on well-being. In addition to the marine area, the treatments and all the thalassotherapy spa services available, the hotel offers specific coaching sessions, a dietetic full board package and the chance for whole teams to come and train together.
The Thalasport cure programme focuses entirely on sport and alternates between activities (aquajet sessions, building up muscle strength, etc.) supervised by our sports coaches - usually in the mornings - treatments (remineralising and revitalising treatments, showers, chromatherapy, etc.) and massages (relaxation and affusion). The six-day cure starts with a sporting assessment with one of our experts and includes twenty-four treatments, of which six are massages and twelve physical activities.
This six-day thalassotherapy cure for golf fans combines six individual kinds of massage (relaxation, affusion and relaxing plantar massages) and six revitalising and toning treatments. In addition to the treatment part, the golfer has a green fee per day at Saint-Cyprien golf course , an international twenty-six-hole course which sportspeople will love, as will people who enjoy spectacular views and that special “golf links” ambiance (views over the Pyrenees and Canet-en-Roussillon lake).
I train all the year round for various triathlon events and being able to focus on my sporting preparation as part of a dedicated course of thalassotherapy really is a big bonus. The advantage of the Les Flamants Roses thalassotherapy is that they’ve got everything there, as well as the coaches - and if you fancy a bit of sun and relaxation, the Mediterranean Sea is just a stone’s throw away!
